About Lux Floor & Design
Lux Floor & Design (luxflooring.ca) is a Toronto flooring installation and design studio. We help you choose a floor and then install it, from the subfloor to the last stair nosing.
What we do
We install hardwood, engineered hardwood, herringbone and chevron floors, luxury vinyl and laminate, and hardwood stairs. We also refinish existing wood floors and repair and level subfloors.
We work in houses and condos across Toronto.
How we think about a floor
A floor is the largest surface in a room and the one you touch most. We treat the choice of wood, width, pattern and colour as a design decision, and the subfloor underneath as the part that decides whether it lasts.
That is why every project starts at your home, with samples in your light and readings of moisture and flatness, before anyone talks about a price.
How we work with you
You get a written, itemized quote. HST is shown separately and every other cost is in the price. Scope, materials and dates are agreed in writing before work starts.
In Ontario, if an estimate is part of your contract, the final price cannot go more than 10% over it without your agreement. We put the estimate in writing so that protection applies.
